Beaqutiful World Theme, by ramblingsoul orginal templates, ported and fixed in order to work best with wordpress 2.3. Its a two column graphical theme with a great header and clean color palatte. It follows all standards and also search engine optimised. it is easy to modify and suit one’s own needs.

Not many are aware to the fact that in order to produce a real good design is a very complex task to start with. Most of the web users do not appreciate that fact. However, most of well visited and reviewed as ‘best’ websites do have a simple and elegant design. Don’t get me wrong, a simple design is not just a few colors and no images. A simple design mostly refer to websites that are lack with heavy graphics elements. Websites with no heavy flash or any other elements that significantly slowdown the user browser.
Lets take a look at www.stylishwebdesign.us, by design it is pleasing to the eye with a clean color palette. The header is spacious with the menu below it making it look elegant in a web 2.0 way. The ‘turn corner’ look makes the menu very unique and stylish, adding to the whole design. However, the design is fairly out of the box, I would have loved to see it done in a tabless format. You probably noticed that on the home page you don’t see a lot of text. After all, every user on the web who visit a website for the first time is trying to figure out what this website is about, and the enough is said to make the point through. Their portfolio page shows the custom design work they have done. Although its just a start with only few projects, but all of them are done in their elegant and stylish way.
Another eye-catching thing about this site is the directory feature. They have also started an interesting and well formed design directory for design websites. Again, its also in it starting steps, but the idea looks promising, and I am already planning to add this site to the list.
Overall, the design and idea is up to the mark of the new age web 2.0 websites, and I like this design. Its clean, simple and creatively neat. Just the way I like to see more websites. minimalistic and to the point. More should follow the same idea.
sFalconer is nice two columned, on gray/Black/White Palette Theme, which has inbuilt sIFR titles. They look pretty good as well as they don’t really interfere with SEO of theme. This theme has also Random Quote Generator. Theme is validated for xHTML and CSS, and it has cross-browser compatibility. Anyone interested in the header psd file, Email me.
Reading about this in wordpress support forum made me realize that people who are just at the beginner level for theme design and development, needs a clean theme to start with.
